For my daughter..........

I love this picture of my oldest daughter, as a teenager she doesn't truly smile a lot so I am happy I was able to snap this picture when I did. 

I made this layout for her when I went on vacation without her. 

I mounted it in a shadow box frame so she can hang it in her room!

Mixed Media Mayhem!

 This is a mixed media canvas I made for my MIL for her birthday. I used a piece of lace and large flower from my stash. Lots of texture was added to this with molding paste, drywall tape and crinkled paper. 

 I used gesso to tone down the colour on the flower. 

 The face is drawn on with pencil then sealed with modpodge.

 This one was for a family friend. The colours are perfect for her personality. 

 I coated all the elements in gesso and then used sprays to add colour.

 The letters are Tim Holtz grunge board that I painted with flat black. 

 Again, lots of texture using different techniques. 

I {heart} summer!!!!

I love this layout. I used Simple Stories I {heart} Summer line. I added some stamping to the background paper, and lots of hand stamped homemade embellishments. The stamps I used are from My Minds Eye, Miss Caroline "Dilly Dally". I love these photos of my daughter. She has a bright sarcastic personality(proof is in the photos). I was asking her to smile!

This bright orange button from my stash worked perfectly with the colours in the collection.

I had some tickets left over from an event, so I decided to add them as embellishments.

Here is some of the extra stamping I did on the background.

I made this cute little card for my niece's 6th birthday.

I wanted to make something different and special for her. 

I am happy to say, she loved it.  

I used all scraps on this and LOVE how it turned out. 

I am calling it my "Matchbook Card".

Well, I keep saying that I am going to make an effort to update this on a regular basis, then I forget.
